In need of some advice again for the brakes as it seems like I may be killing Padgid RS29's going round Snetterton
I've done one day with them before and they were fine, but this time after a few laps I started to get juddering. It got to the point when tapping the brakes going into Corum they snatched the steering wheel to the left...awesome!
Went in, had a cool down and it looked like there was pad deposits on the discs. Went back out a little bit steady and they were okay after a couple of corners. Then gave it the beans and after a few laps, juddering again.
All okay on the way home, no issues.
Took all the brakes off the next day, checked the pistons were all moving which they were. Cleaned the pad face and the ends of the metal were they slide. Cleaned all the brake dust out of the grooves as they were all completely full of dust. Not like the K Sport pad saga were they turned to larva and melted into the grooves, just packed in dust. Even gave the disc face a quick rub down. All back together and the brakes are fine.
So, why are they now shitting the bed on track? Discs are AP Racing and virtually brand new, pads are down to about 65%.
Any advice much appreciated
I've also got some bling to post but I'll do that later
