Also need to locate some methanol. I'd thought a friend of mine was likely to be able to get it for me but he reckons he cant. Still, not an insurmountable problem.
Project GTR (zed replacement)
I loved my Skylab and I expect Andy has improved them no end over the years,

Yeah I've heard nothing but good and this "fusion" version he is claiming is a real game changer. The theory on the adjustability means it should be as I mentioned in a previous post, but the great thing is that compared with the Jap version - Do-Luck and the like, it's an absolute bargain! Even without the independent F/R adjust, the R35 rivalling response times for the 4wd would be worth it alone
I hope it works....haha

Well I can do that at the moment as have a switch to disable the FWD
but the idea of this is that it also allows you to control the 4wd seperately, with one controller for 4wd application during cornering and one for acceleration/decelleration.
This will be great in the wet as it will enable me to dial more 4wd for cornering, which I can then stop before the point of creating understeer, while maxing 4wd on the straights, thus maximising traction. Which is good, as the GTR is a bit of handful on a wet circuit. Last time out at snett there was no point in even running in the pm on the sodden track.

After a bit of disaster over Christmas with the top floor of my garage pretty much collapsing it's all been pulled down and re-done. Finished it off today and have made a great area to store my spare wheels and tyres, can get 10 wheels/tyres up there quite easily and we put a lip along so they can't roll out. Pretty pleased with the result.

That's well handy having storage in the roof space and better than keeping stuff in a damp shed , things seem to age in them . My last place had a pent roof garage and i could hide plenty of bits up there , now i just lean things up against the garage wall and trip over them . I have just taken out the back seats and i think i will try a hang them up on the wall out of the way otherwise they will just rot in the shed . pete
