yeah lol,its funny how we get caught up in our own worlds very interesting to see how things are made,
matt is making a bracket for my shifter on gearbox, its easy to always think how can a simple bracket cost be expensive but when you see some of machines you can then understand.
matt can you add some pics of your machines here?

EVO 7 with 2300cc,GT35,HKS 272's,1000cc,MOTEC...the list goes on..
Wheel spacers and wheel nuts are back from being hard anodised.

Then I tried a wheel on the car.

What do people torque alloy wheel nuts to?
Got to wait until next week for quaife to get back to me about the diff due to the autosport show. Also got to decide on the brake set up I'll be using as got a couple of options. One will be more work and aggro but a much better setup and the other is bolt on but not as good.
Going to change my boost pipe again as not happy with it. Not sure how yet, need to think about it. It's a pain to connect up as it is.

I can't see you being happy with a compromise Matt, and brakes are one area that I wouldn't want to compromise at all..........and certainly not with your power levels.
Good luck.

Been modifying a spare inlet manifold today whilst I was waiting for a bloody computer as it went wrong.
I have removed the ports I won't be using and welded the holes up. I'm also enlarging the feed to the Bov as it is only a 3mm hole at the moment and it needs a 5mm id.

I have cut off the egr valve port and filled the hole

Finally the new throttle body I have has a 74mm bore yet the manifold only has a 63mm hole. So it will be machined to suit the new TB but the idle control ports are within that diameter so I have welded them up partly so it can be machined and still have a mating face to seal on

I have put the whole manifold in my rumbling machine to polish/clean it up inside and out.

And a video of how it works.

Hopefully get it machined this week.

Used to have one of them years ago (or similar) fantastic things........used to love experimenting with the cutting media.
