Posted up a while ago but joined the forum after having a dig about to establish history of the R32 I went to look at (and subsequently bought) - figured was as good a place as any to knock together a small project thread.
Took it to the drag strip not long after buying it from Mark (Slaphead) and managed to not only kill the alternator but also apparently killed the clutch too - it still ran a 11.6 despite the slipping clutch though which lifted the mood a little bit

Also since I bought the car it had always seemed to crunch when going from 3rd to 4th so decided to change the gearbox at the same time as the clutch... Sourced another good gearbox along with a Spec twin plate clutch (was a little miffed about the heat spots on it but luckily they went away pretty easily)

Whilst the car was waiting to be fixed I also got rid of the CV Pro's as they weren't really my cup of tea - put a set of stock wheels on as a stop gap until I could sort out/decide what I really wanted (excuse open boot, gearbox is in there heh)
