Thanks for the heads-up Stu; I had read about that site but presumed it had to be a coincidence :D (Message sent)

Look what I found :)

This guy found a simple way around head room issues. He chopped all of the drivers side out, measured up for a new one and welded in another floor pan two inches lower!!

With this and a 'properly mounted' seat, he's gained nearly four inches in headroom :smash:

I'd almost given up hope of really tweaking the Spazda :cheers2:

Sold the CSL last April i think....

Tried to live without a decent car and made do with rentals for a bit but after a Corsa and a Golf Eos i'd had enough so bought a 996 Turbo.

Got big plans for it and will start a build thread soon.

Wheels (lots) and tyres (some) and steering wheel of godly dishness collected today :D

More tyres to be bought this week and then one of the sets of alloys will be refurbished before the tyres are changed over.

Looking at this

Does anyone want to have a punt at estimated costs of fabrication and labour? It would require the old floor pan being cut out and a new one being fabbed up and welded in.
