Baby update, spurred on by Trev and his excellent mk1
I've been addled by various engine management lights; swapped the MAF, lost the lit up dash only for the dreaded light to come back a few days later. Checked the boost pipes (not that I know what I am looking for) but all seemed OK. Swore. Slammed the bonnet and swore some more. Ran the tank dry, brimmed with 99 ron and reset the ECU. A couple of days later and the car is running stronger, smoother and the light has gone out! (Still think there is a sodding boost leak

)
With talk of wide arch kits, and of no realistic expectation of putting it on mine, I did find this

The first picture is a whole extended arch with the extra bit to make the front bumper
The second picture are the individual arch extensions
On the car
Priorities (Actual ones not wide arch jibber jabber) are to get the suspected boost leak traced and fixed, fit the uprated suspension that I picked up this week and then maybe, just maybe a remap...........or induction and Forge DV..........or a decat........
