Been speaking to Jamie and expert ( ;) ) advice is to go for an R32 Golf front ARB and lower arms, then lower it as much as I want. Someone has just offered me cash for the Audi interior and I have a solution for the wheels. Progress :D I love progress!

EBay here we come.

Dude found on Ebay who's breaking one, so I've contacted him to try and get the ball rolling.

Does anyone know if a TT strut brace will fit mine? (Or is it the same as an S3 one?) Found one for about a tenner!

AUQ Rob
1.8t 20V that has the larger injectors as standard. I'm sure it's still leaking boost you know. Had a look at the pipes to the intercooler tonight, and whilst I couldn't find any holes, they felt really soft??

Maybe impregnated with oil? The intercooler pipes on the focus were soft as hell because of oil.

Baby update, spurred on by Trev and his excellent mk1

I've been addled by various engine management lights; swapped the MAF, lost the lit up dash only for the dreaded light to come back a few days later. Checked the boost pipes (not that I know what I am looking for) but all seemed OK. Swore. Slammed the bonnet and swore some more. Ran the tank dry, brimmed with 99 ron and reset the ECU. A couple of days later and the car is running stronger, smoother and the light has gone out! (Still think there is a sodding boost leak :) )

With talk of wide arch kits, and of no realistic expectation of putting it on mine, I did find this

The first picture is a whole extended arch with the extra bit to make the front bumper
The second picture are the individual arch extensions

Priorities (Actual ones not wide arch jibber jabber) are to get the suspected boost leak traced and fixed, fit the uprated suspension that I picked up this week and then maybe, just maybe a remap...........or induction and Forge DV..........or a decat........

Here we go again :D
