Civic type R could be a possiblility but i already have an ugly jap car.

Doesnt really have the emotional pull that the Clio has for me. Its so tough, ive trawled pistonheads classifieds and to be honest there isnt much out there in that category that id actually spend my money on. :(

Yes mate. Great minds etc.

Considering a type r myself as a reliable runaround.

Integra type R (DC2 variant)
I have not owned a 182 or any other Clio; I know they are reckoned to be great cars and all that but personal preference stepped in.

Now, a DC2, that I have owned :)
The best steering feel and gearshift of any car I have driven. Faintly ridiculous handling given that it's a front wheel drive and the driving environment? Alcantara Recaro's, leather Momo wheel and a titanium gearshift??

5k will bag you an absolute cracker

Oh yeah........at least it's not French ;)
