Thanks Jon :)
Do you know how to get CD's out of the headunit!! (the multi-changer in the dash) I get an error code suggesting that on is still stuck in there.

It's a real common problem unfortunately. You can try removing the head unit and unplugging it for 5 minutes then plugging it back in. Every now and then it used to work otherwise we just sent them off to get refurbed. I think they are a Pioneer or Panasonic unit so a local car audio should be able to fix it for you.

Tyre's of choice were the Yoko AVS back in the day.

Two things that niggled with the IS:
1) The boot hinges are ridiculous and mean you can'tuse the whole boot space grrrrr!
2) How cold is that gear nob in sub-zero temperatures!

Nice motor Stu. Not quick, but a lovely drive i am sure.

Are you going to use it in anger or get something else to play with this year?

Thanks Micared and Warboys :)

Eddy, no idea mate. It's a bit too pretty, slow etc for angry use. Slightly silly use is to be expected though. I am currently hatching a plan with a good mate to go halves on a track car (ex-race Saxo :smash: ) and drift missile.

He owns the Maxo already and I have the potential of buying the Dagenham Destroyer back. It is rear wheel drive now

We shall see.

This car is not a project by any means though; it's merely a daily drive.

The friend who owns the Maxo knows the lads who bought the DD and converted it. Apparently they may be persuaded to relinquish the car. They bought it to drag race it and they have been taking it to the Pod quite regularly. Being disappointed with the times, they are thinking of moving it on.

A speculative bid has been placed :)
