I hope you have more luck with them than I did.
The alarm can be turned off, hold the button in when you turn the ignition on :) I had the same gauges, oil temp was a bit off, so I replaced them with STACK :)

I ran the DC2 at a few events and did some serious laps back to back. I never experienced any problems, although I had no gauges either. I would say that you'd be fine but maybe speak to Johnnie Becker @ Bentley? He is the Honda/Bentley Master Technician who happens to be the son of ex-Lotus Director Roger and brother to senior Lotus test driver Matt. He is also the guy that bought my DC2 a few years back and what he don't know about Hondas...............

Let me know if you need his number.

More Goodies Arrived Today.....

The joys of working at a race circuit... things get delivered by participants :sifone:

Tein super streets with 1200 miles on them, bit of a bargain so I'm pleased. :coolgleamA:

Started to clean up one of them, will do the rest this afternoon and they shall be fitted tomorrow.

Well went to sort the gauges out, and like some of you said, they could prove problems, both of them were kfunked :banghead:!!

Neither worked at all.. Obviously something inside them decided to not work, so they are on the way back to wherever they came from, and have ordered a totally different set. :(

Coilovers are on and sorted, the rears were seized but with an amazingly quick turn around they were re-conditioned and what a transformation!! Handles like a dream!! Really chuffed :smash:

Have got lots of different extended hub bolts to try out this week for the best fit, so i can safely run the 5mm spacers needed to clear the calipers, and some new whizzy open ended lightweight nuts :D

You win some you lose some hey!!

Shame about the guages.
