with the stock brakes, ds2500 and fancy disc they were still cooked at snet hence trying these brakes. Lloyds tried a few brake combo's on his vr6 and for the money we thought the new ones should help.
what seats are you using? side mounts?ours are base mount and we got away with the stock frames and even kept the height adjustment. the stock frames really are easy to mod for some seats

Interesting about the brakes..will have to keep an eye on them, even with my novice track knowlege I cooked the brakes on the Vectra at Snetty.
I have got a side mount seat with the brackets but looking at the subframe I think a little bit of fabrication I should be able to fit it and keep the height roughly the same plus it will be nice to keep the back and forth adjuster.

After a few track days the brakes have held up well.and the golf has generally been good. Next stage has been taking out a bit more weight. Home built rear strut brace

wrapped tubular manifold, which was a pain to fit

oil cooler as we'd been seeing over 120c often so hope this will fix it, new bucket seats as the last one was a bit wide for me.

and one of my most pointless blue peter moments
