Does the previous owner know your plans?
All the weight you'll be pulling out of it will make one hell of a difference to the performance, should be refreshingly different. (And if it's crap, I know some 80's gangsters that will bite you're arm off to relive their heyday :D )

I am an 80's gangster Rob, don't you remember how much trouble I caused when I was 17?? :D

I reckon I can get 200kgs out easy as you like and Gary has tempted me with nitrous, so anything could happen yet.

Maybe I'll just keep it simple and drive the bloody thing? (Like I stole it)

No, the owner nor the owners club of which he is a member, know nothing of my cunning plans. Benny Hill style video of me painting it will be a necessary way of me getting to know the Jag enthusiast forum, I think.

That will be hysterical, can you imagine the outrage when a "youngster" guts and races a "classic" :o
(And from what I remember of your being 17, it involved loud shell suits, then cheap work suits, and company cars, bent company cars! )

PS Lets not mention my Vauxhall Chevette here mate! Or my even cheaper suits

Chandelier? Kiss my arse :D

You wait until it's slammed, half caged, satin black and dechromed :D

Jags are the way forwards (and I happen to like cars with loads of rust)

I hope you got the smoking jacket and slippers !!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Normally I would say that I dont like cars like this but actually after seeing some of these in action at the Nippon race day they sound and look great when stripped, caged.

Just make sure Stu you put some decent suspension rather than that one we saw roll like a barge !!!!!!!!!! Remember it coming hard on braking lol.
