First of all a huge thanks to Stu, Dunc, Snettertons workforce and anyone else involved in arranging the track evening. There was a great turnout and lots of stunning motors which put mine to shame!!
I had a brilliant time, alot more confidence in the car compared to last year but it could have been oh so different!! On the way up i needed some fuel so stopped at Shell in Diss and surprise surprise no V-power so chucked
Snetterton - great day but could of been oh so worse!!!
Luck escape mate. Nearly lost a front wheel on my first track day. Now check the wheel nuts before and during an event religiously now.
Wheel nuts should be checked so many miles after being torqued up in my opinion any way ( the torque wrench used at a tyre place probably hasn't been calibrated since new either).

" Uh Betty you should of seen this car in Ely today!! it had stickers and stripes
all over it, and when it started up, the noise!!!, I could feel my teeth rattling!!!"
yeh i read your report stu and knew exactly how you felt thats for sure!! i think it was just one of those days where if it could go wrong for people then it did!! i think dave (rayman_gtir) ended up having a problem with his clutch bearing which put pay to his track induction which was a shame as i was looking forward to some formation flying!!!
