I like the future proof aspect to a system like this. Noise limits will get more stringent as time goes on. Something like this means that trackday and TF trips to the Ring and subsequent noise concerns are a thing of the past.

A good investment in my eyes.
I can live without Bedford but I very much doubt that Frayz's exhaust (or omplete car as induction/tyre noise counts too) would pass their tests there anyway. I guess we will have to wait for frayz to do a track day there to find out.

I wont be doing it Ross.

For the arsing around trying to get through the noise test there, I would rather drive a proper track for less money.

I have been to Bedford before but not on this exhaust system, on a louder one.

The system meets Bedfords noise tests easily. Thats was one of the requirements for the system.

Bedfords limits is 87.5dB drive by. But their mics are approx 30m from the track side. My car is 87.5dB drive by but thats with the tester standing driectly at the side of the road.

Bedford is a fantastic track to drive. The huge run off area lets you really exploit the car without fear of hitting anything in most places.

I can see what youre saying but i certainly wouldnt say its not a "proper track" Dunc. You need to drive it before you comment i think, if you havent already.

Will keep you posted Ross when im next back at Bedford.

Agree with Frayz about Bedford. Better to try out any suspension & geometry mods there than say Cadwell. :)

i have done the 4 individual circuits at Bedford before but not the new million mile length combined one

Agreed on the run off but suspension has to work in lots of conditions and most of them are not on a perfectly flat track with no mid corner camber changes, crests into corners, crests halfway round corners, bumps, dips, curb hopping etc All of which dramatically change what a car has to cope with and how it deals with it.

No doubting that it is a great exhaust though.
