Scrutineering is like a quick MOT. Make sure everything is fixed down like, battery, seats, seat belts are OK, petrol cap is sealed and secure. There's supposed to be yellow tape on the -ive lead on the battery but I always forget and don't have any.
Currently fighting Aeroquip fittings and braided hose around the garage. What a bitch of a job :x

car flew through its mot yesterday so no extra expense there
a comment was made on the tyres (this gets used dosnt it) tyres are pretty new toyos but are looking a little shreaded.
currently on the look out for a power fc and commander if anyone see's one for a v3 97/98 and also considering a power hike with the help of fmic/md or 18/20g turbo/ injectors
the sprinting has got a grip and me and the car are loving it although both me and the car needs some improvment, i feel that i need a little more power for dry conditions , car definatly feels a lot more at home in the wet and easier to get rid of the understeer with the throttle
plently for me to think about

I'd check out the 'cheaper to buy' omment. It's true initially but the Apexi does benefit from an AVCR, which is another couple of hundred and no MAF, but you already know the price of one of those
.
Big advantage of the PFC is having the sensor outputs displayed through the commander.
PFCs should be getting cheaper as people switch to the Simtek.
