the best tip i can give is give yourself a lap or two to warm the tyres up and get used to the kart. as sdminus says you need to keep your momentum up so dont jump on the brakes too often, you'll be surprised just how wide you can run and still keep up some decent speed!!

also for the first bend after a couple of laps ul be able to bleed off the throttle then put ur foot down before the apex and carry speed all down the next straight and do the same on the next set of corners, the long left hand is flat out and you can overtake on either the inside or the outside!

sdminus there is no way you could have set a 42.5second lap around ellough with that new hairpin section in!?!

my best time was a 54.55 and a high majority of my other laptimes were in the 55's which i thought was good for a first time at the circuit!

a chap i work with got a 53sec lap. i would have got into the final if some chap hadnt hit me hard and broke my steering. i recon it could be possible to do a quicker lap in a quicker gokart as its a farily quick track.
