RB26 Rebuild

That seems a lot easier than using a tiny spanner from the underneath!
I gave myself arthritus trying to do that up!!

Its a pain to do from under the car :x I tried with lots of different Combinations of tools then thought there must be a better way under 2mins to do it up this way

A picture of the finished engine back in the car, we had a tour of Northen France in the car over the weekend it now has 950K on it since the rebuild.

Oil pressure using 5w-40
800 rpm hot 2.5 bar
2000 rpm hot 4 bar
3000 rpm hot 5.5 bar
4000 rpm hot 6.0 bar

How many boxes is that you popped at the pod now Paul are you going to uprate this box when you rebuild it :?:

That was the first , I am aiming for 700bhp in my old Black GTR so I will have to change a few things in the gearbox to help it cope. So far I have the turbos,engine block and ECU.

Great thread Paul, you are a very lucky guy to know what you do. I capitulated when trying to adjust some coilovers earlier. (poor effort I know) I do enjoy reading about the oily aspects of projects, if only to marvel at the engineering and the fearless attitude of the guy wielding the spanners
