That seems a lot easier than using a tiny spanner from the underneath!
I gave myself arthritus trying to do that up!!

Its a pain to do from under the car :x I tried with lots of different Combinations of tools then thought there must be a better way :wink: under 2mins to do it up this way

A picture of the finished engine back in the car, we had a tour of Northen France in the car over the weekend it now has 950K on it since the rebuild.

Oil pressure using 5w-40
800 rpm hot 2.5 bar
2000 rpm hot 4 bar
3000 rpm hot 5.5 bar
4000 rpm hot 6.0 bar

How many boxes is that you popped at the pod now Paul :wink: are you going to uprate this box when you rebuild it :?:

That was the first :o , I am aiming for 700bhp in my old Black GTR so I will have to change a few things in the gearbox to help it cope. So far I have the turbos,engine block and ECU.

Keep up with whom?

Great thread Paul, you are a very lucky guy to know what you do. I capitulated when trying to adjust some coilovers earlier. (poor effort I know) I do enjoy reading about the oily aspects of projects, if only to marvel at the engineering and the fearless attitude of the guy wielding the spanners :D
