My Dyno Day Friday (13th) - Results in

Post by TonyB »

4-5 hours dyno hire booked at APT tomorrow. Just about got the car ready for it, just in time for the Drag night.

Wish me luck

Right then, Great day had. Big big thanks to Gary @ APT for showing me there is more than one way to skin a cat on the rollers (and his way is far better than that of a local rival company btw) :thumb:

I arrived hoping/wishing/praying for 400bhp/ftlb at the fly, knowing that this was really pushing the limitations of a standard internal'd GT4 engine.

Result - 370bhp and 405ftlb

We could have pushed a little more to get the bhp figure up, but I think that boost at 1.8bar peak will do for now :o

I am a very happy chappie. The drive home was fun, a whole new beast, until I had a heart wrenching moment - the power went completely while on boost, I knew what it was tho, she *broke* a clamp on the IC pipe work.

Roll on Wednesday :-D

Amazing result Tony :notworthy:

You are going to thrash me on Wednesday as I am still down at 1.2 bar :(

What were the wheel figures out of interest?
