Mine (R32) was tested at Snetterton at the proper 2/3's of all revs and registered 104.8 without the bung, so don't panic just yet :D

NM~ a bung is exactly what it sounds like, a sleeve that fits withing the 'silencer' of an exhaust restricting the airflow. These are normally only fitted if you want to drive around in a more stealthy fashion and are prepared to sacrifice performance. It makes a massive difference to mine in both senses.

Why on Earth would you have a dB meter on your phone and how did you test it? (Revs/distance etc)

Or just do what Bubble does and ease off before you pass the measuring point :)

All cars are measured in the paddock before you even get on the circuit Ben (new rules as of April I think)

Blimey, now I didn't know that ...

I do know that Ethopia measure their years on the coptic calender hence it's actually 1999 there still.

I would imagine that my HKS Silent would pass the test quiet nicely.
