It was my first trackday and you would have certainly been "entertained" by some of the routes I managed to take. Especially going round the big sweeping bend before the long straight, a number of times I got half way round and thought oh God I'm only half way round, I'm never going to make it... still I suppose that adds to the funGerry H wrote:Like you say, no armco certainly lets you explore the car's capabilities a bit more.
The other bit I like, is that, as it's most people's first time on the airfield tracks we all have to find the fast lines. It was quite entertaining watching some of the 'routes' taken

i used the yellow line as a guide.
i held onto it until i felt i had reached the second apex and started to accelerate.
but 4 laps at a time was fine then the car would change its mind to how it wanted to go round that corner, hence why i spun or didn't or held it!!
i was putting it down to the front tyres and the fuel tank getting emptier?
as i say, the right hand bend after the runway straight was 110mph entry speed hitting the left at 85mph then down to 35ish for the hairpin left.
