The other bit I like, is that, as it's most people's first time on the airfield tracks we all have to find the fast lines. It was quite entertaining watching some of the 'routes' taken
It was my first trackday and you would have certainly been "entertained" by some of the routes I managed to take. Especially going round the big sweeping bend before the long straight, a number of times I got half way round and thought oh God I'm only half way round, I'm never going to make it... still I suppose that adds to the fun
I could feel the car was right on the edge of grip going round that corner, one slight twitch of the steering and it would be all over the place, a good corner for learning to be smooth, an area i need practice in!!
I had it very sideways on that long sweeping corner before the back straight behind the other guy with a white teg on here but it was controllable and great fun - cold tyres
It was a strange corner though with the camber and speed you had to take it!
It was an awsome day sat pitty i could not run in both groups would have loved to mix it with some of the B Power runners in A but i was in B
The road tyres hated the work but the track tyres gave such a different lap.
The thing is i prob have lots of pics of group A cars Ian Nick and Gerry for sure cant post here tho!
