Well, i fitted my baffles today and did a proper job of it too! Thanks to BrownEJ20 for welding them in - top job, really impressed!

After refitting the sump i fitted a new oil filter and changed the oil to Silkolene pro s 5w 40 so im ready for wednesday!!

Isnt it true to remove the oil sump on a Skyline is an engine out job?

Ive seen the Trust sumps RK rate at their workshop - extended to have a higher capacity. He rates them highly so must be pretty good!!!

Correct for the RB26 engine

There is no way to drop the sump down with the engine in the car due to the A-frame

I think it is also because it is part of the front differential housing.

I cant go for a bigger capacity one as i know it would get smashed on the road.

Tomie baffle plates for me i think.
