Longer wheel studs

Post by JC »

Where's a place I can buy some locally?

Also looking for some tapered wheel nuts?

Any suggestions?

Thanks

JC have you looked at getting some good quality spacers that use the original studs to hold the spacer on and then the spacer has its own seperate studs which you bolt your wheel on to?

I really don't need to go that far, the ones that replace the studs come in at around +15mm offset, and I would sooner keep as close to stock as possible.

The front studs are slightly longer than the rears, so they will tranfer, thats the back end sorted, all I need do is find something for the front

Tried Westgate, was in there on Friday, great with everything else...but not car specific like wheelstuds and wheelnuts etc.

Looks good, tried calling them but no answer... also tried SCA in Norwich today...bring it over they said, estimate a price of about 1.50 each, I also need to get a set (20) tapered wheel nuts in M12 x 1.5mm with a 17mm hex.

Good find, if SCA can't help, or are more expensive than they say then these guys look like they can supply

Thanks

Ask for Matt or Kat and tell them that I said you should ask for a discount and then grin :D

Those two are well used to my bare faced cheek at knocking their prices down. Let us know how you get on.

My wheel spacers with their own studs are 10mm.

Be warned that it could need the whole hub off the car to bang new studs in mate.
I put some in my old Mazda when i fitted Mitsi GTO brakes to it and was a right pain putting the new studs in.
