Jim,
Easiest route to power is 4agze - the supercharged version of that cars normal engine. This gives 170bhp standard and about 200bhp with the overdriven pulley conversion. You could do all this for under 2k easily and it slips straight in. Have a look on Fensports site for more info.

i have been looking into these options
fensport are close too ( relativly speaking )
i will give it some thought.
being supercharged it will give better low down oomph which is what i want for tight tracks like cadwell or brands hatch
