Took time out to fit some mods, Apex steering rack poly bushes


Wire brushed and primed some bits of very minor surface rust I found that I had missed.

More updates, its been hetic and it may look like there isnt much progress ..


Problem with prototype parts is they sometimes have to be modified :wack:

Marty_T3 kindly came up to hack at my car, I broke the captive nut for the ARB - similar to Yak & Bigtone

I did some more drilling later on in the evening, till my drill blew up :wack:

I'm still only half way accross the bumper support....

I did get the cage in before the drill passed on at least ..

I wanted it rolling by the end of today, not much left, mainly the bushes of the rear hubs and fitting + diff.

I seemed to be fannying around with little jobs for most of the day ...







Back at work tommorrow, so I'll have to do the little bits in the evening, which I was trying to avoid doing .. I was sure a week off work would be long enough

It will be ready to go to DCMS on time though, for engine fitting, and down to Garys for VEMS & mapping shortly after that.

I've failed to tackle the splitter, or brake ducting at all though or clean and paint the now de-soundproofed interior :annoyed:

Felt good tonight, even after being back at work, so got on with some more stuff, and picked up more goodies.

Borrowed a dremel (Cheers Bren ) and trimmed then fitted the front bumper properly


Sparco FIA approved Seat, need a FIA one and the K-sport isnt approved
Also full braided hose set for the turbo.


Fire extinguisher, will be a nice fit I think

Traction arms & 2/3 of 1 hub ... still more to do.

Sort Brake Lines after ABS removal.
Fit Shift-light -done
Refit rear bumper
Fit LC button (keep changing my mind on how)
Move Catch tank - done
Finish fitting FMIC
Finish Splitter
Brake Ducts
Electronics side of Auto-manual conversion (For MOT)
Clean up

Car is now at DCMS being prepped for its trip to APT, last few jobs ...

In all the time I've owned this S13 it has never made it to my house, mainly its lived at Yaks, but today it came visiting


Hole for MAT sensor (air charge temp, for ECU as ditching the AFM)
