you think I look 10 in them .... have a look at these
story:
Road Rally down near Staplehurt in Kent. This was at the start of a section through the night at about 3am. I was busy plotting the route ahead so told my driver (and best mate) to drive slowly to allow us to make progress but still give me a chance to plot.
There was a long straight at at the end a hump back bridge. He shouts to say "Photo" - there was a board saying Photo at the side of the road meaning that a photographer was there. This generally meant a jump or something spectacular. By the time he had accelerated flat out down the straight and we hit the humpback bridge, I had traced the route back from what I was plotting, to the tight right that quickly followed the bridge !!. Just as we hit the bridge and took off, there was a flash and we passed the photographer at head height and cleared the hedge into the field !
Once landed, and buried as you can see we were grateful of the push from the photographer and his mate to get out
I gained about 4 inches in height that night from the mud on my shoes.
We continued for a few miles slowly as there was a massive vibration... we stopped and I scraped about 2 kilos of mud from the inside of the wheels !! - we carried on and finished 12th I think
