Well all I can say is what a fantastic day. I've never enjoyed track time so much.
Skipping the journey there and fast forward to the sighting lap, I remember feeling sick to my stomach, firstly because I was in group 3 and looking at the cars in my group I thought I was in a bit deep!. I had the Ultima infront of me, Porsches behind me - Trevor next to me !!! - With the Ultima I concluded he'd be gone so no worries - anyway off we went in chase of the General Lee ... a car which was surprisingly fast for a MKI cortina - driven I believe by Jim himself - so I lost sight of the cars in front on the sighting lap - great ..

... anyway once ready to open it up, the nerves had gone and we were off - the layout had lots of fantastic fast bends - my favourite bend had to be the 2nd after the main straight, basically a deceptive little number that you could take in 4th - but found yourself nicely drifting towards the green stuff - nice little wiggle and she would be back on track. Well the Ultima - he was in my blumming way - it proves POWER IS NOTHING WITHOUT CONTROL (Or trevor driving it) - So the Ultima had to get out of my way ... I think the driver was taking it easy and didn't want to spill his coffee maybe, who knows ..
The the chicane - they were very entertaining - it was like throwing a house brick through a keyhole at 50mph, - My car impressed me all over again with how it dealt with these - Brrrrrrrrp, screech, Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp, brrrrrrrrrrrrp, screech.
My highlight was Trevor with his Driftking - Blackflag - Ragweld - Super Supra. Class
It was a great day for getting to know everyone better also - one of the best meets I've been too. And I think every one got a ride.
Mirage - I didn't meen to shout at you

- but I was going 90 round a corner with the backend stepping out. Glad you enjoyed the spin.
Bring on the next one.
Jim, Thank you and all the crew for such an excellent day - by far the best 'car' day i've had in ages.
