Bloody hell Dave, are you sure?

I can see some long term lock up rental coming free of charge :) I'll talk to you about this on Sunday.

The only problem with the Sierra is that whilst cheap it is slooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Maybe it needs a bit of YB power or a crazy RB engine swap? Now that could be a laugh :)

Can I help .. that way I can learn more on someone else's car :).

Benny and I are waiting for the right time to buy our little drift toy ... i'm sure it's a 100 times harder to do than it looks .. but will be good fun finding out.

Am i missing something here or isnt a XR4i gearbox 4WD?
There is a much cheaper way you can convert it to RWD but it is a bit rough and ready!!

That's right mate. I need a 4wd box etc to change my XR4x4 running gear into XR4i or equivalent. Rough and ready? I'm all ears :P

Well there is another way you could do things;
you can pull the front shafts out of the box and plug and weld the holes, cut the shaft at the front wheel bearings and weld them in to stop the bearing collapsing and then get in the box and remove the front diff and then lock the centre diff up.
This is a very breif explanation of course but it can be done, if a RWD sierra box bolts onto your engine then that would be a lot easier mind!

I didn't understand anything you just said!

Yeh, the rwd box fits so that'll do for me. Or more accurately, I'm paying and Dave is fitting it.

Hang on a minute.......it could always be the bigpower communal drift car!!
