Well after managing to borrow a decnt little welder for a while i have been able to get on with building an exaust for the car to mate up with the new bigger turbo that is on the car.
To build an exhaust i managed to get hold of a stock R34 GTR exhaust, half a new Ford Transit exhaust and my old 4" bore Nismo silencer from my system on the Skyline. Looking at all the parts i never thought i could make anything but was determined to not pay for anything unneccesary on the track car which which is being built on a budget!! I did have to get hold of a flange and reducer to start things off though at the elbow.
After lots of cutting, grinding, hammering, swearing and lying under the car with the exhaust in one hand and the welder in the other i managed to build a what i regard as a really decent side exit system which sounds nice and will meet trackday regulations.
Didnt really get any pictures of it being built but managed to get a few with it on the car, it has proper mounts and is solid.
Had to use loads of weld wire due to some of the cuts not being built to micro tolerances!!!

As you can see some home made reducing was needed to get from 2.5" into the 4" silencer! :-D

Have also managed to get the R34 GTR Skyline intercooler mounted up and will be using various hoses to connect it up next week hopefully.
have used rubber mounts on the intercooler to give it a proper mounting.
Will be using Bart and Pablos suggestion of using the wiring conduit to connect it to the inlet i think so there is not loads of metal piping needed.
Car is getting there now and should be a good fun drift car very soon.
