Those wheels are ideal

to be covered by a BERG CUP KIT

Nice progress.......slacker :D Get back to work. I need some plastering doing next time you're in Norfolk mate. Only one wall in one of the rooms, so nothing mega ;) I got a bit carried away with decorating

Very nice Trev. Your a brave man tackling the wiring loom. There's an easy way to sort out those wheels, just start wearing a baseball cap backwards......."swhappem them cool innit".

no mate jaffa the mk1

well had a little fiddle with her today and now i have front/rear lights indicators and wipers
next to tackle is the braking system which is a bit of a headache tbh with 3 master cylinders to tackle. as soon as thats done though its engine time and fueling

had a half decent camera with me today so a random shot of how she is sitting at the moment

bought the number plate holder back with me to rub down and spray and the clock surrounds to play with a bit of carbon sheet as i will have no need for a heater or stereo

Mate

Unless you are going to do something special with those arches, those wheels look daft, and that's from the Man that thought Betty's stance was acceptable :) I know you can run 1.5 to 2 degrees- camber, but even so, the Wellers still run too wide.

Aside from that, I think the car is taking shape beautifully. I really like the little duckbill front spoiler. Suits the car a treat. As you're going full on Motorsport on the mk1, you don't want a set of MO's with a brand new set of Toyos do you? :) You may have to fit them using cable ties or double sided tape. Both options lighter than wheel nuts ;)

A nice distraction for you Trev; I could really take some pride in owning this

Back to the MO's; a local engineer may be able to machine out the bolt holes if there is enough material (logical enough) but he's not sure and he wants the fitted tyres removed, so that means

that mk2 is lovely i saw it a while ago for sale on edition38 , hefty price tag though
what do the mo's owe you ? pm if you like , surely longer studs and normal nuts would do the job they have a normal recess before the cylinder bit dont they ?
