Oh my god!
I have just spent half an hour or so racking my brains trying to remember what I have done and spent over the last..........err.... nearly three years and have added my money pit to the garage. I knew I had spent a fair bit on mods, but not that much
I guess I will have to update it further when it comes back with the new engine and new spec - gulp.

Well I could have bought an R34GTR with what it owes me now  But I could never have saved that much to spend on a car all at once, or even wanted too, to be honest. And for what I have spent, a GTR would be pretty standard power wise.jungle-jim wrote:one of my favourite cars.
does the modding bill get very close to a GTR price tag yet?
Half the enjoyement for me is looking for what mods to do next, buying and fitting them and seeing the results.
All good fun

Well all I can say is that Rockabilly in his 650bhp R33GTR could not make any headway on me down the straights @ Silverstone, which shows just how much the GTR transmission saps power, unless Thors Dynopack figures are a little optimistic, where it was mapped a couple of days before. I can't compete with the way that a GTR puts the power down out of the corners though 8)Econ wrote:Also now with the spec your running you would destroy an R34GTRBubble wrote:Well I could have bought an R34GTR with what it owes me now  But I could never have saved that much to spend on a car all at once, or even wanted too, to be honest. Well the engine was almost ready to be done, but after a final measure up since the crank was polished and although the new bearings were within tolerance, Richard Bell has decided to go for a different size to make sure that it's 100%
As Richard is going to give me a 12 month / 12,000 mile guarantee, even with the caning that I give it, it has to be right 8)
The bad news is that there is a 3 week wait from Nissan for the 3 new bearings, even Nissan in Japan only have 2 of the 3 needed
Oh well .........it will be January now before I have to do the 1,000 miles of running in
