Have you heard anything regarding a control tyre for 2016? I overheard that they mentioned something in the lunchtime meeting at Rockingham, and there was an official-looking Pirelli guy sniffing 'round the cars and tyres too.
Finishing off the Ford ;)

Just wondering if anyone is thinking about entering next season even if only as a one hit wonder for the odd round. Would be good to see some more members out there.

Hi Paul , i see the Snetterton round is in September and iam thinking about giving it a go .Iam still sodding about with the exhaust as its still too loud ,tested at snetty and it made 106.5 but the man doing the test said it would probably be 108 as its louder in the mornings for some reason .Going for side exit pipes wasn't a good idea so i need some new silencers and exit them out the back , that will teach me not to try and be too clever. Other than finishing the exhaust i need to get some TDs in a see how iam with the car , looking at the end of february for a much needed trackday . Pete

Time Attack have done a deal with Pirelli who will be the control tyre for the next 3 years. Club class cars will be running the Pirelli Trofeo R tyre. From what I can gather from Tine Attack competitors who have used these they are not a bad tyre for track use.
Shame they didn't give any thought to wet weather tyres.

As competitors we will get a discount when buying direct from Pirelli, but always interested in a deal no harm in asking.

We would like to officially welcome on board our newest sponsor for 2016. 'TURBO TECHNICS', who also happen to be one of our competitors in his sierra cosworth 3dr, fitted with a 2.9, 24v, twin turbo 4x4.
