We keep looking but haven't found any yet. The Time Attack media guys had a camera set up in our
car for the first 2 sessions so waiting to see what the do with it.
TNTRacing - XRCosworth
Re: TNTRacing - XRCosworth
Well since the last round things have not stood still.
As pictured I damaged a tire at brands hatch so we have bought a new tire and this has been fitted to the wheel.
When I was taking bits off the car ready to remove the gear box I noticed the UJ on the front prop shaft was damaged, bearings had run dry and it had disintegrated so a new one has brought and fitted.
Also took the clutch cable off and found the reason the peddle was hard, it's sat to close to manifold.
Even though it's hard to reroute it we've ordered some exhaust wrap to wraparound the cable to protect it.
We have a new AP clutch and we will hopefully start fitting it later today and start putting everything back on the car ready for the next event.
Once back together I'll need to take the car out to bed the clutch in and get used to the new bighting point.

Good luck guys, fingers crossed that's all the excitement and expense out of the way...
Re: TNTRacing - XRCosworth
Great results guys. So please that you are collecting tin ware and that neither the car or Al have broken.
Keep winning and keep up the good work!

Re: TNTRacing - XRCosworth
Cheers guys. We are still being bitten by this car which keeps messing up our plans. We had been told our clutch was an AP Racing clutch, so after contacting AP with regards to having the clutch plate re paddled we sent the clutch off to them. I then got a phone call from them telling me that our clutch was NOT one of theirs...Bollocks...So we have had to buy a new AP Racing clutch kit.
Re: TNTRacing - XRCosworth
if you get your old plate returned, send me some pics and i'm sure we can arrange a re-line for you...........
as mentioned many times we could have helped with AP also

Brands Hatch 2012 v 2015
Speed over start finish line
2012 - 110mph
2015 - 123mph
Lap time
2012 - 1:00
2015 - 57secs
Power
2012 - 452bhp
2015 - 446bhp
In 2015 Alan set his fastest lap in the practice session when he was still settling in to the track and if you look at Alan's times for any circuit he always gets quicker through the day. For the qualifying and final he had to run our Bridgestone REO50 after damaging 1 of he semi-slicks in the practice session so there was more time to come out.
Just goes to show the importance of having the engine set up and mapped properly.
