Re: Time Attack 2015
Hello chaps, haven't been here for a while, just thought I'd pop in. Nice to see interest in the series again for this year.pablo wrote:licenses are still the same. Still can't see the benefit of coming under the MSA, I can see / feel the added costs but no benefits.
Can someone please explain to me what the benefits are of being associated with the msa?
As regards the question above, TA has been MSA accredited since 2010, so nothing new although the regs will now appear in the next Blue Book so that is why this Championship name will be slightly altered.
As regards the rain-cooling down light it was developed to allow following drivers to know if the car in front is on a quick lap or not, if the lead car has his lights on he has no requirement to allow a following car (even if quicker) past and this led to some heated moments. Hopefully with this addition it will allow drivers to make an early decision to continue or abort a lap.
Regards, Al.

Cheers for the reply Al.

Time Attack club class has moved on to point where you now need well in excess of 550bhp to be really competitive which we are no where near. The introduction of the new clubman class seemed a better fit for our modest little car. We have however decided not to Time Attack this season.
We will however be entering a new series this year
