The old girl is looking better than ever dude. Massive respect to you for taking this on and getting it finished. I know you'll enjoy that chassis like I did. I miss it alot!

We came, we saw, we went home with a full tank of fuel :(

Just got back from Snetterton after a day waiting for fog to clear so we could get on track, unfortunately it never did so the event was rightly canceled due to poor visibility. Utterly gutted and disappointed but it was the right call by Javelin. I am debating if I should moth ball the car for winter now and sort a few more remaining jobs.

Even so, was nice to get out in the rex as always and get some positive comments from other petrol heads.

Not much else to report in terms of work on the car, I have been getting some areas of the car improved such as replacing the steering UJ to reduce some slop. I have also purchased a FC HAKO which is a datalogit copy, this will enable me to fine tune some areas of the cars map. Also managed to get the stock front undertray back on which was a bonus. Over the winter I need to look at a few jobs mainly maintenance.

Dont know to do with myself now!

Haha, nice try John. If you leave a blank cheque as well?! You got any further with your running issues? I seem to remember you getting some new coil packs...

Maff, as you say what you can do? I am glad it was called off, I was stood in the pits thinking I didn't want to out because the conditions had trouble written all over them. I will just have to get ready for the next one, I would rather be stood in the fog waiting for the chance of going out than be waiting for anything else!
