Well there you go, the Season 5 opener smashed the current record with 17.3 million viewers

I suffered the other way round with none of the new stuff being worth the effort.

Watched the first couple of episodes of The Last Ship... meh.

Watched the first two of The Leftovers, looked good, turned to crap episode 2.

Forever looks good if a little too formulaic, "gutsy streetwise female cop/agent, helped out by quirky male companion who sees stuff others may not" Forever, Castle, Perception, Homeland (bit of a stretch that one) not to mention the whole Sherlock Holmes overtones.

Gotham started last night, haven't watched that yet.

And the Shaun Bean thing has been recorded on the Sky box, but I haven't actually watched an episode yet.

The 100 I got to the end of and it was just OK.

Best thing I've seen lately was Breaking Bad, finally took out a Netflix trial and it was worth every penny.

I've just completed Season 1-4 of The Walking Dead in a shade over two and a half weeks, which I concede could be construed as borderline obsessive

My claim to TV obsessive fame is that I watched all 38 x 50min episodes of the original 1970s "Survivors" virtually back to back (over a 39hr period). This is considered a right of passage with hardcore Survivors fans

Also, following my recent shoulder op I watched the entire series of Stargate SG-1 (10 seaons, 214 episodes of approx 45mins each), then the full series of Stargate Atlantis (5 seasons, 100 episodes
of approx 42mins each) and the first season of Stargate Universe (20 episodes) plus 3 x Stargate feature films, all in a just under 11 weeks

It was very relevant at it's time and indeed quite topical now (virus wipes out 99.9% of society :eek)
