Rally night stage, should be interesting

Post by jap.slapper »

I've just had a knock at the door which lead to an interesting conversation with one of the Heads of the Valleys Auto Club reps who's organising the 1000 Lanes Rally event for 2014. I've said a few times now that where we live would make for an awesome rally stage and it would appear that others thought the same. Apparently they used to run a rally stage around here many years ago but for some reason moved away from the area, though I dare say a few of the downhill sections here are a bit dicey at speed....especially if it's been raining!

It's now confirmed, we have the pleasure of the 1st competitors car running at 03:29hrs (so a night stage none the less) across the top of our property. I think I might have to see about getting some pics and video if possible. :driving:
