Ah sorry I thought you meant where I had mounted them, not that the stock seat wouldn't be strong enough to support harnesses.

That talk of car polish stuff on Maffs thread reminds me I need to order the 'Ogle Wax' :)

Right, ok confession time to reveal secret mods !!!

I was offered the Bride bucket seats out of Matt from Neweras RX7 he had bought at a price that can only be described as ridiculous.....less than half the price of a new one ! So I could hardly say no. I had kept it quiet in case I had to say no because my lardy arse didn't fit. But removing the Bride side cushions helped and although its a snug fit its not too uncomfortable. Would I want to do a 3 hour journey in it....no but I guess thats the same with any fixed bucket seat. I do have comfy reclining Recaros in the Civic for long journeys and more importantly a much reduced fuel bill than taking the Rex !

So without further ado.......pics......yes they were taken with an iPhone and they are not faded, they are bright red !!

and with the harnesses.....all harness eye bolts are now fixed but I can't find one of the snap hooks.....any ideas where to buy these ? I have contacted Corbeau directly who make the Luke harnesses but they haven't got back to me yet.

Overall though I am really really chuffed, it livens the incredibly dull black RX7 interior for us non special people who don't have red carpet (Dom I'm looking at you !). Just need some rear bins for the back and then that's the interior completely finished !

They are superb mate. Great addition

Corbeau's service is usually excellent so I'm sure they will be able to help. Also a shame I chucked a load away when I moved.

Maff, yep the passenger one came with a proper Bride rail but the drivers one came with custom metal brackets. If I'm honest these seem pretty low with no adjustment so I'm considering buying another Bride rail for that but I haven't tried setting it up properly yet though. It was a quick test last night as I was getting the harness eyes in mainly.

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm stoked about them.

They do look kind of nice. Does Emma not know about all of these goodies?

No she hasn't ventured out into the garage yet.

Am sure she will be taken with a seat that says 'Bride' though.......kinda fitting considering we are getting married next year don't you think.....well thats the case I shall be putting forward ;)

Haven't bought the carbon things I posted, mapping should come next.
