Next wheels refurbed, debating going Gunmetal instead of the Gold ... and also not sure what colour mud guards to go for.

Oh and sourcing the strip that runs from the windscreen to the rear window as some spirited driving and my inability to secure it correctly has resulted in it being left somewhere on the A140!! ...

White on gold is classically awesome Ben. Mate had a set of anthracite revs on his white type r and it didn't look as good IMO. Gold looks superb.
Black Kaylan mudguards only. Check out Performance Creations Kaylan range. They're the best you'll buy. :-)

Frayz I was going to ask you about those .. awesome thanks,

As to the weather seals etc - damn you've got good eyesight.. lol .. the price is shocking though !!! .. £97 trade just the one that runs along the door (AND it was bent when it arrived - however time and all that fixed it) - Got this from Constitution motors on an overnighter .. (not from Japan G before you quote F&F)

Just replaced the roof / gutter trim but this time used much better clips so should be good to stay on.

Just make sure you get the Kaylan ones and not the PVC. Most cheap kits are PVC. They're crap and look rubbish in no time, also they're flimsy and flap about when the car is moving.
The Kaylan is what real WRC cars use, it's mega strong and impact resistant and just ridged enough to flex when you need it to but not so much that flap about.

I've had a few sets off Performamce Creations now including the mini-flap kit I run now. The product is very nice and their customer service is excellent. :)

So the next stage of the restoration begins ... Autogenie is hard at work

This is the underside as of this morning prior to cleaning and prep

First arch cleaned of crap - looked like a kilo of it on the floor :)

First stage of wheel preparation (Will be refurbed shortly though)

Wrapped up ready

More pics to follow ... also took the opportunity to replace parts of the old intercooler kit due to issues with the old one - a previous owner had shortened them by cutting off
the lip for each of the pipes resulting in them popping off rather frequently!! ...

It's a new cover to protect it from all weather types plus I'll never have to clean it again
