Waterless coolant.... anyone tried it?

Just being watching those spanners on wheeler dealers and they put waterless coolant in a car - now initially I wasn't paying any interest until he said it runs from -40 to 180 and don't create massive pressure due to there being no water.

He even removed the rad cap when the car was at temp...

So is this a sensible replacement to old school coolant?

I have heard of a few people in the rotary world using it due to the heat rotaries generate can't be a bad thing......
Rotecknics use it on customers cars and I have only heard good things was considering using it myself when I fit v mount

I know they tried it in the SVA Imports Time Attack Evo, but quickly reverted back to conventional antifreeze as it caused an issue. I'll try to find the MLR thread when I'm home tonight.

pure water is the 'best' coolant you will find and you simply require the correct amount of a/freeze of some form to stop any internal corrosion and to protect in winter use.........
these waterless fluids may not boil but that is NOT the sane thing as providing cooling properties

most common mistake is people trying to 'improve' cooling by adding more a/freeze concentrate
