Poor preparation signs everywhere, and way below what I would expect of a car of this value.
So onto the work. The car was deep cleaned using products that are safe on alloy panels and magnesium wheels before the paint was cleansed and polished, the alloys protected, the exhaust and engine bay cleaned as well as a few other exterior touches

Engine bay metal surfaces waxed, exhaust polished and sealed, as well as all plastics and rubbers dressed for protection
The alloys were cleaned inside and out, as well as the tyres and arches cleaned. This photo is prior to the dressing for tyres being applied
Midway through the job we had a shower, but not before I'd had a chance to apply the first layer of protection (a sealant) so this demonstrated the water behaviour quite nicely
With the roof down I polished the buttresses, hood recess was cleaned and I generally gawped at the shape. This photo is a good example of the extra gloss and clarity that some decent cleansing and polishing can achieve.
Obviously the car was re-dried following the shower and a further layer of protection was added in the form of a high quality wax. This photo also shows the tyres dressed and protected
With the exterior completed, attention turned to the interior. Carpets and mats were thoroughly cleaned. Every leather surface was gently cleaned and conditioned, as well as all switchgear being dusted, cleaned and dressed.
The owner was delighted and I expect that I'll be getting a call from his 355 F1 owning neighbour pretty soon
