I've passed the worry that she was too far gone (there was a budget but when it comes to the crunch I hate boring modern cars so it's worth it) to the excitement of having a perfect car now

No pics but she's in paint as we speak - may get some pics saturday.

Mike the issue was rot under the rear window scuttle and the join between the inner wing and the outer wing. In the first pic without the quarter could you see about and inch and a half of missing metal!.

So time for a little update ...

Cut out the rear of the light holes and removed a couple of inches from inside the opening so that it doesn't touch the intercooler anymore.

Looking good Ben :) Can you check with Chris about how much paint he's putting on (average in microns) and what type of clearcoat he's using please? Will help me when it comes to planning my work.
