I'm very impressed fella, the dash looks awesome, my dash lights are terrible and unfortunately unlike the uk impreza's there is no dimmer control so I need to carry out a very similar task.

Seeing your post has spurred me on to get it done once my car is back - shame I didn't take the dash out when I dropped the car off!!

Cheers Ben. It's made a world of difference, feel safer now these are done. Last December when I needed to see the instruments it was literally just about visible, besides it does in a way freshen up the cabins overall feel. Speaking of which I'm still yet to update this thread with the heater control mods, thanks for the reminder.

Could you not pop back there and quickly remove them? Would save time when you get the car back!

Removing the dash is a simply job on the impreza - two screws for the surround then a couple to remove the cluster.
