Cheers. I'll give you a bell after I get the sills sorted. Have emailed htec but not heard anything yet.

If you're waiting for an answer to email you may run out of fossil fuel first! :) Better to ring them Chris I think. Get some photos up on here of what needs doing (I'm just curious)

So I've been speaking to the previous owner and it turns out he has a load of kit that I need sitting in the garage!

So I should be getting;

Nitron coilovers
H&R antiroll bars front and rear
Brembo 6 pots and csl discs

Once that little lot is fitted, Geo and corner weighting :)

You want to get more details about those Nitrons. The ones direct from Nitron are, widely reported, to be highly unresolved. Dave Pook of Spires Tuning sells his own spec of Nitrons that are properly sorted. He, of course, can rebuild them to his spec.

Thanks Tommy, what do you mean by unresolved? The previous owner was a proper geek so I would have thought he'd done his research. Will check :)

Wrong spring rates and damping characteristics. Search on csl register and you'll find quite a few bad reports.

As for Dave Pook he's a bit of a legend in BMW's, track work and suspension set up. He's a suspension engineer by trade who spent many years with JLR before setting up Spires. He has a Csl himself and his nitrons can be found on his car (obviously!), Al Clark's old M3 and Dale (of Bridge to Gantry) old 328i Ring machine.
