Ridiculous sized battery replaced for a sensible sized one! Nice 10kg saving there.

The battery in my Dads old S Type Jag was the same......bonkers sized !!

Great work on reducing the weight though.

Jeez' that battery's a big old fecker, You'll probably need to adjust the ride height now that you've taken that out...

Nice looking base car mate

Nice choice. You've prob already thought of this but if you can out some decent brake fluid and front pads in it before Snett. My E46 lost it's brakes after literally a lap on std pads and fluid and that was when the car was new. Porterfield R4 pads and proper fluid, while not curing the chocolate M brake issue, helped loads and allowed me to enjoy it. Weight saving work should help too

Hi monster. The car already has uprated pads, fluid and lines but I know you're right, I've read about the poor brakes. Will be upgrading soon, maybe ksports all round. Don't think I can justify or utilise aps yet. Cheers

ah should be good then. See how you get on with it as it is and decide the best upgrade kit from there. Enjoy!

Cheers, looking forward to it. Im used to the same power at 1200kg with sorted handling so will probably be taking it slower.

Be good to see your build though dude, looks quick!
