Cambridge Oselli engineering did one too (Come on boys, I beat you to one!!)
For what it's worth, there are two face book pages dedicated to all things Sierra. Be a good way of getting the word out there for this car. There still seems to be quite a cult following for them, with decent conditions cars fetching decent money. For reference though, a clean G plates 2.0 GLSi sold on eBay for £1200 last week, so think he'll be doing well to sell this for £1300, but having said that, it just needs the right person to see it.

nice looking car indeed, is this a 1.8 chasseur?

the above car car is a MK2b face lift model.

MK1 1982-1986
MK2a 1986-1989
MK2b 1989-1993
Thanks! If I recall it's the chasseur, they had electric windows?

I thought Oselli engineering were in Oxford or use to be.

They did a turbo conversion for the 2.0 litre XR4x4 using a Turbo Technics kit. Hence the Turbo Technics kit reference. Although they did actually offer a 2 stage setup. Low boost & High boost.

Loving that bit of XR4x4 chat. My old man had a silver XR4i when I was a kid and I LOVED it, esp the funky 80 display which did nothing more than tell you if the doors were open or the bulbs had blown but was oh so cool in the 80s. It was an A Reg.

It got written off on the motorway so was replaced by a a red XR4x4 mk1, which was also cool but had lost the digital display and was far more understated. Still loved it though, C reg so MK1.

Sierra's are landmark cars for me

Dad's A reg Ghia was the first car I did 100mph in
My first company car was a 1.8lx and the car I got banned in @ 102mph (See a trend yet?)
My next company car was a 2.0GLSi and that was the first car that was written off whilst I was driving (not my fault by the way)
The XR4x4 was my first dedicated track car

Would love another one......

Going to collect the car from RGS tomorrow with mixed fellings. After several days on the car they have been unable to dial in anymore boost so we are still only running 15psi. Spoke to them earlier about all the things that they have found.

The omex is not contolling the boost.
The boost controller is not controlling the boost.
An issue with one of the vacuum hose connections.
Plus a couple of other issues.

Really gutted as we had hoped to be running full power on sunday. So we are now looking at a new boost controller, wastgegate spring, possible boost solenoid (although they did say that was working) and some new wiring. Oh, and a remapp.

Will know more when we collect the car.
