Quite a good mixture of cars and good to see a few friendly faces.

Overall though there were plenty of cars with more sound mods than anything and especially sad when Ben commented how nice an Integra was and the owner just grunted at him and locked his car up..........I won't say anything about how awful it really was......will just say it had dice tyre valve caps and a massive dice for the gear shifter....nuff said !
A few nice cars were there but it was sad not seeing Evos, Scoobys, Skylines or even any RX7s.....it was mostly modified hot hatches (my standard Civic looked out of place!).

Nice to go along though and some superb cars out on track, not seen a Noble used in anger before.

Lets try and get a good turnout for julys fixture.

That was my impression from the first one Gareth. I could see loads of local chav cars that I recognised in the paddock and I just know most of them are arseholes. Which was a shame, eventhough there are more cars - it's a case of quantity over quality which is a pitty. In all honesty I'm more inclined not to go to these anymore, just not the same vibe these days. However more events like the police gala or Speedhunters event last year would be better.

Shame on you mr H! Thats not the spirit! :toetap05:
If we got off our arses and made the effort to go we might get our home track back (and the atmosphere) and maybe we might be able show a few "chavs" the light?
Belive it or not i was young once and spent far too much time and money filling my cars with shiny bits and subs then finding a cruise to attend and show off. Yes i look back now and cringe but i wouldn`t change it. It was by chance that i ended up on a quarter mile day and i had so much of a rush doing it that i found myself going in a whole new direction dumping the car full of speakers and looking for ways to get faster.
Yoofs will always be yoofs with bravado and a need to be peacocks. Most will grow out of it and some might find that the adrenaline from a track day is a far bigger draw. ;)
Many of us bleated on that we missed our monthly meets, Now we have a chance lets not piss on it, Lets take the piss out the chavs instead! :D
