I got to page 16 and then realised that I was only really looking at the pictures.
It looks bloody light mate. Wikipedia state a 810kg curb weight as standard so when stripped out, even with the cage fitted, that must be really lightweight

Re: jaffa
well i'v certainly had some ups and downs lately
managed to get the car ready after a few hicups like putting a hole in my rad the day before apex and a broken water housing but gsf came to the rescue again
anyway i made it to apex festival at lydden hill with a 100% untested car friday night around 9.30
there was a sprint on the circuit sat morning and it was tipping down with rain till midday then around 1pm ish it was time for demo cars to go out, i knew my clutch didnt feel right as the biting point was so high and id had the cylinder off and bled it a touch but no difference.
anyway out i go to an unknown car new box/lsd suspension upgrades etc etc with other cars that are no slouch
3 laps and i was in the pit lane, angry the car was not playing ball with a slipping clutch
and that was my weekend of track action over
still had a good weekend with several drinkys and watching others enjoying themselves on track helping out where i can
today i took cylinders out flushed the fluid through as it was a bit milky and took the car to mikes for testing
pulled the car off the trailer and it was perfect, biting point on clutch where it should be, no slip and boosting like a bastard
fixed
but im still not sure how as i cant see the fluid stopping the clutch from disengauging <-i cant spell
anyhow all seems well so look forward to booking a trackday, it will certainly be interesting
some pics from the weekend

we also had 3 berg cup cars over from europe mk1 polo, bmw e30 and an ex touring renault (sounded the tits) along with some other serious bits of kit including a couple of cars from holland
this thing is just mental rwd audi monster tdi engine with over 600lbs of torque (crazy europeans)

it wasnt all vag though with a good number of mk1 2 escorts and vauxhalls, loads of drifters etc etc.. a good weekend dispite my woo's

If you are going over to snetterton next Wednesday i will bring your 440cc injectors back for you.
It will be great to see jaffa out on track.
