Trip out in the sun to APT this morning.

EVOs in abundance (what else) Danny readying Gary's monster for the sprint tomorrow and Chris monster 7 being strapped to the Dyno for mapping (Its for sale here if anyone is interested: http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=479317).

Danny got the Clio up in the air and 3 of APTs finest past and present, pushed prodded and pulled at suspension components to come to the conclusion.... "its French".

No discernible reason for the noise, Danny tightened a couple of bolts here and there to make sure, tiny bit of movement in the dogbone bush, some ABS rings close to being on the way out and a little hole in a CV boot, but its simply decided to be noisy.

Ahh well, cheap fix, turn the stereo up and don't worry about it.

:iagree:

:) It may actually time to do the paintwork.

I've been reading up on all the different paints, and how not to kill myself.

What did you use Russ? Was it Celly? And what sorta mask? Theres so many differnt opions horror stories and general confusion out there I'm a little lost.

From memory nigel was one of the first i used water base on (yuk!). The lacquer is still 2k though but done in jan/feb without an oven to bake it off in was never a good mix. Anything other than 2k will go flat as a turd in no time, though that said even some 2k will go dull in a few weeks if done wrong.
Feel free to give me a call if you like mate?
